Punk Ass Summer is a Japanese pop punk band popular in the underground scene in Tokyo, Japan.

The band is influenced by the likes of Blink-182, Fall out Boy and Foo Fighters in the west, as well as other similar bands in Japan, and you can hear this in their composition.

Despite being a Japanese band, all lyrics are in English and feature various musical styles such as punk, rock, ballads, dance tunes and more.

Growing up in the 90's the band members wanted to write music in a style that they personally were influenced by in high school and share their music with a generation that doesn't get much exposure to non heavily computer generated styles of music like we commonly see today.
