Rock Matsuri is a blend of high quality bands brought together to celebrate the wide range of rock available. Our first iteration brings together bands representing grunge rock, alternative rock, hard rock, American 50’s and 60’s Rock and comedic rock that do original music in which you can see the heavy influences of bands such as the Foo Fighters, Nirvana, and the Beach Boys. These are combined with Syamisentist, an internationally renown band with two great shamisen players rocking out with a drummer along with the group Dayu using Taiko to round out the East Meets West theme.

Starting at 10:00 there will be a DJed after party where you can have more of a chance to talk with people around you or to dance your face off.If you like good music, rock and roll, or just want to have some fun with an amazing group of people, check out the the bands and then come and enjoy the show!
