We’re really excited to be hosting Andrew’s album release party at the wonderful 7th Floor in Shibuya.

This fantastic new CD is a collaboration between Andrew and the critically acclaimed world music producer Mathias Duplessy. Andrew met Mathias while playing music in India. After forming an instant connection Mathias offered to produce Andrew’s next album. Over the next 2 years ‘One And All’ was born. Recorded at various locations from Goa to Paris to Tokyo, it incorporates a blend of sounds and styles from all over the globe. Duplessy plays more than 20 different instruments on the album, from Mongolian cellos and violins to tabla and sitar from India, many styles of guitar and bass and an array of wind instruments.

Andrew will be performing tracks from the album at the release party and will be joined on stage by a number of special guests.

Support will be provided by some of the very best musicians that Tokyo has to offer.

We are very excited to be welcoming Kate Beck back to MTM. It will be her first performance for us since her relocation to California earlier this year. A firm favorite we are really looking forward to hearing her sweet soulful songs once again in Tokyo. A treat that you’d be silly to miss.

Robert Taira Wilson will also be returning to MTM and 7th Floor. It will be an exact 6 months since Robert released his own CD at this very venue back in March. Robert debuted his new band at that show and to mark the half year anniversary of that he’ll be returning this time with a 5 piece ensemble, including vocals from the brilliant Kate Beck.

Aimee Blackschleger is a very well known and highly respected singer in Tokyo and has lent her vocal talents to a wide range of projects and artists. Hitting it big time with her anime songs she has traveled far and wide with her music. It’s an increasingly rare opportunity to watch her perform her own original music, but this is exactly what she’ll be doing on September 14th.
