Hailing originally from London UK, singer-songwriter Robert Taira Wilson is currently based in Tokyo. Since picking up his first guitar from the tender age of 7, the past ten years have seen his musical reach extend across Europe to Asia and continue to expand globally.

On March 9th Robert Taira Wilson will be releasing a brand new EP containing 6 songs recorded in London and Tokyo. This is Robert’s third studio release and contains a number of collaborations with English and Japanese artists.

It’s a very special occasion and Robert will be doing something quite different. For the first time he’ll be performing as part of a sextet, with violins, double bass, drums and a backing singer, recreating the set up on the new record.

Two other incredibly talented acts will also be gracing the bill.

Tea:
Indian born singer and Berklee music graduate ‘Tea’ will open up the night. Her music is fused with jazz and traditional influences and her voice and the attention she commands on the stage is so impressive. I promise you’ll be happy you came just for her.

Shamanz:
After that, ‘Shamanz’ will take things up just a notch with a Latin infused groove of their own. Performing as a trio, with guitar, bass and drums, this is a rare chance to watch these underground favourites stripped back like never before. Raw but no less sensational.
